Dr. Yeoh graduated summa cum laude from Kenyon College with a degree in Molecular Biology. As an undergraduate, He conducted four years of research in nutrient transporter proteins and metabolism. He then spent a year between undergraduate and medical school as a full-time research associate in a cancer research laboratory. In medical school, Dr. Yeoh volunteered in the student-run clinic, took on various student activity leadership roles and performed as a cellist and actor. He was also involved in clinical research and published work on obesity and kidney disease.
His experience in teaching includes serving as an undergraduate teaching assistant in multiple biology and chemistry courses. Dr. Yeoh was the president of the undergraduate pre-med student organization and advised many students on the medical school application process. He worked as a senior college admissions fellow and has interviewed dozens of students. In medical school, he volunteered with admissions recruitment, and mentored medical students studying for the USMLE exams and applying for residency.
Dr. Yeoh has worked with MedSchoolCoach since his 4th year of medical school and has tutored students for all USMLE exams and worked as a general advisor for applicants. He particularly enjoys cultivating interview skills as this is one of the most critical parts of the application process. Dr. Yeoh is a current Internal Medicine resident at Stanford and remains passionate about medical education, clinical research and patient care. Outside of work, he enjoys weightlifting, biking, cooking, and traveling to new countries every year.

During medical school, Dr. Yeoh worked as a fitness spinning instructor to help other students unwind after a long day in the hospital or studying in the library. Strong body, strong mind!
