Ailish is from Westford, Massachusetts and attended Cornell University, majoring in Human Development. At Cornell, Ailish was the captain of the varsity track team, and coached high school athletes during summer breaks. After graduating, Ailish worked at the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Addiction Medicine as a clinical research coordinator, where she investigated the cognitive effects of marijuana abstinence in young adults.

At the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Ailish has excelled on her board exams and on her clinical rotations, scoring a 266 on Step 1, 277 on Step 2, receiving High Honors in all of her third-year rotations, and scoring above the 90th percentile in all of her shelf exams. She has mentored and tutored a number of students on board exam preparation, focusing on optimizing resource utilization and mastering test-taking skills.

Ailish is currently taking a year between her third and fourth years to conduct research on melanoma epigenetic biology at the Boston University School of Medicine and is planning on applying into dermatology for residency. She is passionate about helping students achieve their goals through a holistic approach to board preparation, with personalized guidance on content review, schedule planning, and critical thinking.
