Cindy graduated from the University of Chicago with a BS in Biological Sciences, with a specialization in endocrinology and a minor in History, Philosophy, and Social Studies of Science and Medicine. While in undergrad, she has several years of experience tutoring in a youth afterschool program and TAing biology. Her research interests are in genetics, women’s health, and health disparities, with a background in breast cancer genetics in women of African descent. She is currently a first year medical student at Yale School of Medicine.
Cindy tutors for the biology/ biochemistry, psychology/sociology, and CARS sections of the MCAT. She hopes to teach these MCAT subjects in a manner that encourages genuine learning that will help students become well rounded physicians, as well as meeting their MCAT goals.
