Jon attends the St. Louis University School of Medicine on a full-tuition scholarship. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with highest honors in neuroscience and studio art while also minoring in Spanish. In art, Jon works to communicate scientific ideas in video, painting, and sculpture. In research, he conducts facial recognition studies as well as cancer biology research. He also works as a volunteer Spanish medical interpreter.
Through these ventures, Jon has developed a strength for people-centered communication of scientific topics, making the dense content areas of the MCAT feel approachable. As a tutor, he recognizes the diversity in the people taking the MCAT and works hard to meet each student where they are while helping them get to where they want to be. His strengths in test-taking strategies and memorizing material are complemented by his conviction that MCAT preparation is most successful when sustainably balanced with personal enjoyment and satisfaction.
