Kasha is a medical student from the California University of Science and Medicine School of Medicine located in Southern California. She enjoys mentoring and advising medical students within the peer mentorship program, there. Kasha has been teaching on many in-patient service rounds over the past eighteen months of medical school and is passionate about medical education. As a first-generation American college student, she strongly believes that with patience, resilience, persistence, and the right guidance, any medical student can pave the way for the future that they envision.
Currently, Kasha is spending her fourth year as a researcher with the University of California, Irvine radiology department. She passed the USMLE Step 1 and scored a 263 on Step 2 CK. Additionally, she has received seven honors for core clerkship rotations, including internal medicine and general surgery. In the near future, she will be applying to diagnostic radiology residencies. She is interested in academic diagnostic radiology and plans to continue being involved in medical education. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, and making custom meals for her senior chihuahua.
