Katerina is completing her bachelor of science degree in integrated sciences from the University of British Columbia, focusing on physiology, genetics, and public health. In Vancouver, she volunteers in the emergency department of the local general hospital. Over the summer, she will continue working at a clinical lab in Denver that studies the link between rheumatoid arthritis and lung diseases.
Katerina has also held tutoring positions at the University of British Columbia as a Spanish tutor and for the Center of Accessibility. As a tutor, she works to identify the preferred learning style of her students and create a welcoming environment, supporting her students through their MCAT journey.
