Kieley was born outside of Syracuse, NY and grew up with a love for the outdoors. She graduated from Harvard cum laude with a BA in Social Anthropology where she captained the Harvard Club Lacrosse Team and directed an after-school tutoring program for Boston youth. Prior to medical school, Kieley was a full-time, private tutor for high school students in Greenwich, CT and NYC.

At the Icahn School of Medicine Mount Sinai, Kieley participated in translational and basic science research and played a key role in the development of a novel immunotherapy for metastatic prostate cancer. She also worked as a nutrition counselor for patients with chronic disease, coached in a youth running club, and helped design and implement a course in emergency first response skills for medical students in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

She is a passionate teacher and remained an active peer tutor throughout medical school. To date, she has tutored over 100 students and especially loves working with students longitudinally. She scored 263 on Step 1, 270 on Step 2 CK, and in the 90th percentile on all of her shelf exams. She also earned Honors in every clinical rotation.

Kieley is now a pediatrics resident at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her clinical interests include medical education, pediatric gastroenterology, and studying the role of a plant-based diet in the prevention of disease.

Outside of medicine and teaching, Kieley loves hiking and biking with her friends, yoga, vegetarian cooking, and watching stand-up comedy.
