Madhura graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science from the Johns Hopkins University with majors in Neuroscience and Spanish. As an undergraduate, she worked as a research assistant at the Solomon H. Snyder Department of Neuroscience, where she studied the role of microRNA degradation pathways in the dopaminergic system of mice. She also enjoyed working as a Spanish tutor and volunteering at the Pediatric Emergency Department. In her free time, Madhura plays the cello and bakes for her family and friends!
Madhura is excited to start medical school this fall, and hopes to expand upon her interests in scientific research and addressing language barriers that contribute to inequities in healthcare delivery!
