Namrata graduated from the Johns Hopkins University in 2020 with degrees in Public Health and the Natural Sciences Area with a Biology concentration. She has worked on several research projects, including lab-based neuroscience research and clinical-based oncology research, which was recently published. Her research experiences have allowed her to develop a set of strategies to help students effectively break down complex, research-heavy MCAT science passages into digestible language. At Johns Hopkins, Namrata worked as a Teaching Assistant for the General Biology course and as a peer mentor for pre-medical underclassmen. As an MCAT tutor, she enjoys devising novel analogies to explain the subject matter and utilizing memory tricks to help her students better retain the range of material covered. She is committed to helping her students study efficiently and garner a more in-depth understanding of and appreciation for the material and its real-world implications.
