Nanda Nayak is a senior at UC Berkeley majoring in neurobiology and minoring in data science. She has been involved in several teaching experiences, including serving as a tutor for both the biological and physical sciences. Previously, she has served as a TA for organic chemistry at UC Berkeley, where she taught a laboratory section of 35 students, held office hours, and graded exams.
Nanda has also been involved in a host of diverse laboratory experiences: she has helped build a prototype that measured hummingbird respiration, identified key residues in neurotransmitter transporters, and analyzed the correlation between sleep and socialization.
As an MCAT tutor, Nanda prioritizes individualized learning and realistic practice. She understands the MCAT is not only an academic endeavor, but also an emotional one, and hopes to support her students through this journey.
