Neel graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland with a degree in bioengineering and is currently a medical student at NYU Grossman. He has extensive experience in medical research, having worked in a lab since his junior year of high school. Recently, he worked as a research fellow at the National Cancer Institute studying mesothelin in pancreatic cancer. He is passionate about advancing cancer therapy through developing novel therapeutics and mechanisms of delivery.
Neel has extensive experience as an MCAT tutor and is excited to work with every student and tailor instruction to their needs. He emphasizes the importance of practicing how the MCAT "thinks" to get ahead of the questions. His goal is to help every student maximize their potential and is excited to be part of their journey.
Outside of science, Neel is active in debate and politics, having worked in a U.S. congressional office and having served as the president of the Maryland International Relations Association.
