Nisha Wadhwa MD

Dr. Wadhwa graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.S. in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics. In the year prior to medical school, she worked for The Princeton Review as an MCAT and SAT Biology tutor. She then moved to Chicago to attend The University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine, where she served as an interviewer for the admissions committee, conducted a longitudinal project evaluating the clinical implementation of pharmacogenomics as a student researcher for the 1200 Patients Project, and served on the student wellness committee for four years. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she was elected as resident delegate to the American Academy of Pediatrics and piloted a Resident as Teachers curriculum. She is board-certified and is in her first year of practice as a general pediatrician.
