Dr. Majewska pursued the direct medical route to becoming a physician when she was accepted into the University of New Mexico BA/MD program in high school. She graduated summa cum laude with a designation from the honors college with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in chemistry as well as a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in health, medicine, and human values. She then received her medical degree from the University of New Mexico (UNM) School of Medicine.
During medical school, Dr. Majewska served on the UNM Combined BA/MD Degree Program admissions committee for several years. She also created a mentorship program for premedical students known as the Association for the Advancement of Minorities in Medicine, where she facilitated the recruitment and retention of underrepresented populations in medicine. She regularly met with premedical students one-on-one to advise them on the medical school application process, assist with interview preparation, and provide guidance on writing personal statements. Over time, she developed a passion for mentoring students and has helped high school, premedical, and medical students successfully achieve their dream of becoming doctors. She understands the unique challenges that aspiring medical students face and provides personalized guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
Dr. Majewska loves to learn about different cultures through learning languages (four and counting!) and by traveling. Currently, she has been to over 30 beautiful countries.
