Pooja Jaeel MD

Dr. Jaeel graduated with a major in Molecular and Cell Biology and a minor in Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley. Before medical school, she worked as a math and science tutor for students ranging from elementary school to college. Her three years as a resident advisor in college gave her extensive experience in mentoring students to balance academics and extracurricular activities. She attended the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. There, she continued her passion for teaching by leading individual and group tutoring sessions of pre-clinical medical curriculum. She was also active in interviewing medical school applicants for admission. In addition to teaching, Dr. Jaeel is passionate about advocacy and has served on the American College of Physician’s national student council and ethics committee. She was inducted in the Gold Humanism Honor Society in her final year of medical school. She is currently completing her residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of California, San Diego.
