Rebecca graduated from Johns Hopkins University, double majoring in cognitive science and medical humanities. She also completed a minor in Spanish for the professions and studied at the University of Oxford where she took courses in biochemistry. Upon graduation, she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and received general and departmental honors. After completing her undergraduate degrees, she spent a gap semester tutoring for the MCAT, working in pre-med advising, and teaching health workshops at Baltimore City elementary schools.
Rebecca earned her MD at the Washington University School of Medicine. She scored a 264 on Step 2 CK, and received distinctions in patient care, foundational knowledge (shelf exams), and communication. Currently, she is a resident physician in ophthalmology.
Rebecca has over a decade of tutoring experience overall, including over five years working with MedSchoolCoach. She breaks down topics in a clear and simple manner and works with each student to create a personalized plan for success. She is also passionate about mentorship!
