Dr. Bradshaw earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Baylor University and master's degree in accountancy (taxation) from the University of Houston. Before attending medical school, he worked as a CPA with Ernst & Young in Houston, Texas. Dr. Bradshaw graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at Galveston and completed his residency through the McLennan County Family Medicine Program in Waco as well as a fellowship in academic family medicine. He is board certified in family medicine and is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
After completing his medical education, Dr. Bradshaw worked in private practice for several years before becoming an assistant professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where he was involved in a number of clinical leadership positions in addition to his teaching and patient care activities. He also served on the medical school admissions committee at University of Texas, Southwestern. Until his recent retirement, Dr. Bradshaw had been a student health physician at Baylor University for the past 20 years and worked with numerous premedical students. He is an adjunct instructor in the Robbins MBA Healthcare Program at Baylor's Hankamer School of Business and teaches research and evidence-based medicine at the Faculty Development Center at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth.
Family Medicine
Dr. Bradshaw was a boatswain's mate in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves for six years during college and graduate school, participating in various operations including port security, boating safety, search & rescue operations, and other interesting projects.
