Dr. Natarajan graduated from UC San Diego with a BS in General Biology, following which he attended New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. While in medical school, Dr. Natarajan was an active member of the admissions committee and also mentored local high school students seeking to pursue careers in science and medicine.
After completing a 4-year combined Internal Medicine / Pediatrics residency in Akron, Ohio, Dr. Natarajan proceeded to become a nationally recognized hospitalist leader. He founded and managed several successful hospitalist groups in California, and served as the President of the Northern California Chapter of the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM). Dr. Natarajan currently serves as a Physician Advisor to several hospitals in addition to practicing as a part-time hospitalist.
