Theo is graduating from Brigham Young University in 2020 with a degree in Neuroscience. He has won national awards for his stem cell and biochemistry research on neurodegeneration, including multiple first-author publications. Theo took the MCAT in May of 2019 scoring a perfect 528 (the first person ever from his university). At BYU, Theo has been a MCAT tutor for hundreds of hours and a teaching assistant in general and organic chemistry for 3 years and earned the highest awards for undergraduate teaching. As a tutor, Theo seeks to bring out the best in all of his students through positivity and promoting mental health. He started his MCAT journey completely lost but ended up achieving a perfect score by truly understanding how the AAMC thinks. He hopes to pass this knowledge on as well as countless test-taking strategies to all of his students. It's definitely possible to work hard while still finding time to have fun during MCAT prep. Theo has been accepted at multiple top-10 medical schools including Harvard Medical School.
