He also serves as a member of the Student Diversity Council, an admissions ambassador for the MD and MSTP programs, and an advisor/tutor to undergraduate students interested in a career in medicine and/or basic science. He passed Step 1, scored a 260 on Step 2 CK, and received honors in all his clinical rotations.

Currently, Vikram is in the first year of his PhD studying stem cell-based therapeutics for neurological disease. He is interested in the basic science topics of neuroscience and pharmacology, and holds clinical interests in internal medicine, psychiatry, and neurology.
