Visakha graduated from Duke University with a double major in biomedical engineering and biology. She then attended Duke University School of Medicine, where she continued to teach, mentor, and advise undergraduate and fellow medical students. She scored a 265 on Step 1 and a 267 on Step 2 CK. She also received honors on all of her clinical rotations.
Visakha has extensive experience teaching a wide range of subjects, including the MCAT, shelf exams, and USMLE Step 1, 2 CK and 3. She is passionate about teaching and hopes to contribute to the medical education of future trainees.
Currently, Visakha is a fifth-year plastic surgery resident at Johns Hopkins University and wants to pursue a career in academic plastic surgery, specifically hand/peripheral nerve surgery.
