Yash is currently a medical student at Boston University School of Medicine and a student in BU's 7 year BA/MD program. As an undergraduate student, he investigated how the general chemistry curriculum at Boston University could be improved by designing an experiment that spectroscopically determined the reduction potential of cytochrome c. He also spent the last 3 years working independently as a college counselor and financial aid advisor for high school students in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Yash is passionate about teaching and has been tutoring and mentoring students for the past 6 years. He has worked with students from a variety of educational backgrounds: from middle school students needing help in Geometry to undergraduate seniors seeking tutoring in upper-division college subjects. He is eager to continue pursuing his passion for teaching in medical school by working with MedSchoolCoach to prepare students for the MCAT.
