Chanel Fischetti MD
AdvisorDr. Fischetti has worked in artificial intelligence and ultrasound and has had a variety of experiences in academics, industry, and clinical medicine. Additionally, having been a frontline responder in Connecticut during the COVID-19 pandemic, she’s had unique experiences in a variety of clinical scenarios.
Dr. Fischetti graduated Magna Cum Laude from USC with Bachelor’s degrees in neuroscience and sociology and continued on with medical school at UC Irvine. After medical school, she matched into Emergency Medicine at Duke University Hospital and did an additional fellowship in Ultrasound back at UC Irvine Medical Center. During fellowship, her work and research focused on ultrasound in medical education and working with the deaf and hard of hearing communities. She has also participated in medical school applicant interviews throughout various stages of her medical training.
After fellowship, in lieu of a career in academics, she moved to Boston and pursued a career in industry while working as Chief Medical Officer of artificial intelligence company, Centaur Labs for two years. During her time at Centaur Labs, she continued to participate in research and grant writing, which ultimately led to a role as Clinical Instructor of Emergency Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital. She also received an appointment at Harvard Medical School as a Lecturer on Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Fischetti enjoys the intersection of medicine, industry, and academics and continues to pursue these interests in a variety of roles.

FUN FACT
When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, running, surfing, or practicing hot yoga. She ran Division I Cross Country and Track and Field at USC and was able to serve as a voluntary assistant coach for her high school team while in fellowship.
