Chris Kado
College AdvisorChris has coached over 100 students from over a dozen different nationalities and all walks of life. He has helped students place into selective programs, earn numerous scholarships, and ultimately improve their writing, critical thinking, and interview skills.
Chris Kado graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan with a bachelor's degree in history where he first started assisting community college and high school students with college counseling. He spent most of his senior year in New York City earning the CELTA certification and working at International House as an English teacher. Following graduation, he settled in Cambridge, Massachusetts for three years while completing a master's in history at Harvard. During his graduate studies at Harvard, Chris held numerous roles in education, including a research assistantship, teacher, college admissions advisor, mentor, and editor. Chris spends his summers teaching at different education camps with students from around the world, including employment with Education First and other global companies. He completed the College Advising Program at Columbia University and is expected to complete the UC Irvine IEC certificate in 2021. He currently resides in Mexico City and continues to provide admissions consultation remotely for students in over a dozen countries.
FUN FACT
Chris solo-traveled to Mexico by car two years ago, visiting over half the states. He has since called Mexico City his home.
