    Erika is a graduate writing tutor at Vanderbilt University and is in the process of writing her doctoral dissertation.

    Erika Nelson is a 5th year PhD candidate at Vanderbilt University, studying history of religion. She attended Trinity University for her undergraduate and received her masters from Harvard Divinity School. She has also been a writing tutor at Vanderbilt's writing studio for going on three years. After receiving her doctorate Erika looks forward to becoming a professor of history, religion, or gender studies.

    Fun Fact

    Erika is an Irish step dancer! She danced competitively when she was in middle and high school and reached the state championships. Now she continues to dance, but just for fun and exercise.
