Dr. Liliana (Lili) Rodríguez is a scholar and practioner of psychology, with an expertise in identity development in young adults. Her unique insight into students of today stems from her professional experiences; over her career, she has been a mental health counselor, recruiter, administrator and professor to emerging adults in a variety of college settings. She received her B.A. with honors in psychology from Williams College (Magna Cum Laude), her MS and PhD in psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
As former Vice Chancellor of Campus Life and Inclusive Excellence at the University of Denver (DU), she oversaw the work of more than 140 full-and part-time staff in 20 departments, including academic advising, disability services, housing, healthcare and sociocultural life. Prior to that, she served as Associate Dean of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Development at Swarthmore College. She began her higher education career at Williams College, where she served as Director of Diversity Recruitment and later was asked to overhaul the Multicultural Center, now known as The Davis Center.
Lili is a first generation scholar, as well as a first generation Chicana. She was raised in Los Angeles, California and now finds herself at home in the mountains of Vermont, where she is raising two kids and trying to grow a decent garden.

    FUN FACT

Dr. Rodriguez is an avid fan of science fiction in all forms (movies, books, etc.). She is now attempting to create a major garden (edible and non-edible plants), something she loves to do, but hasn't quite mastered yet.
