    Undergraduate Education: Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology

     

     

    Dr. Michael Kessler graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He volunteered with two EMS organizations for over seven years prior to matriculating to medical school. He was a tutor for premedical and nursing students in anatomy and physiology and inorganic and organic chemistry while in college. He attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and subsequently trained at the Montefiore Medical Center as an OB-GYN. He also enjoyed being an instructor for a reproductive pathology course at AECOM as well as his experiences caring for such a diverse population while working in NYC.

    Following this, Dr. Kessler took his passion for medicine and his abilities in high-risk care to a tertiary hospital in NYS. He started an Obstetrical Neonatal conference with the goal of education and collaboration between the Departments. He then took his skills and experience to build a practice in a community practice. While there he also enjoyed enhancing his public health and community-based health goals. He is passionate about a holistic approach to medicine and enjoys discussing nutrition and wellness goals with his patients.

    Fun Fact

    Dr. Kessler was a volunteer fireman and is now actively involved with disaster services with the American Red Cross. He spends his summer months working as a camp physician.
