Praveen Sankrithi
Master USMLE TutorDr. Sankrithi graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in Biochemistry and scored above 250 on Step 1 and over 260 on Step 2. Currently an Interventional Radiology resident, he is passionate about medical education and mentoring students to excel on their board exams.
Dr. Sankrithi was born in Melbourne, Australia, but has lived across various regions in the United States throughout his life. His journey took him to Georgia, Virginia, Michigan, Missouri, and finally to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he now resides. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Biochemistry. While at UW-Madison, Dr. Sankrithi tutored inner-city high school students in biology, chemistry, and physics, fostering a passion for mentorship early on.
After graduating, Dr. Sankrithi worked as a medical scribe in the Emergency Department at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, an experience that deepened his interest in medicine. His dedication led him to Kansas City University for medical school, where he set his sights on excelling in the USMLE with the goal of pursuing a career in Interventional Radiology. Dr. Sankrithi's hard work paid off as he achieved a 256 on Step 1 and a 262 on Step 2, positioning himself for success in his chosen specialty.
In the summer of 2021, Dr. Sankrithi began his Interventional Radiology residency at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, returning to the same institution where he had worked as a scribe five years prior. He is passionate about Academic Interventional Radiology and intends to remain active in the field of medical education, constantly refining his teaching methods to help students achieve their USMLE goals.
Outside of his medical career, Dr. Sankrithi enjoys an active lifestyle. He spends his free time playing tennis, golfing, weightlifting, and exploring new restaurants and breweries, always seeking new experiences.
