Dr. Gandhi graduated with Honors from Boston College in Boston, MA with a BS in biochemistry where he was first given the opportunity to mentor students through the Mendel Society, Boston College's pre-health student organization. He then moved to Durham, NC where he attended medical school at Duke University. He served on the admissions committee for two years including interviewing prospective students and mentoring Duke undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in medicine. He thanks his mentors at Duke for further deepening his passion for advising and mentoring students. He completed his training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, where he continued to advise students interested in medicine and served on the residency admissions committee. He has extensive experience mentoring students interested in pursuing admission to medical school and competitive specialities. He is completing a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity surgery at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic training program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
