Sara Banbury

Sara graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University with a degree in Community Health. Her thesis at Tufts explored using water and sanitation infrastructure variables to predict infectious disease burden in Ghana. She is a volunteer EMT with her local fire department. When she isn't tutoring, you can find her attempting to perfect her sourdough recipe. Sara is currently applying to medical school.

Sara has been teaching and tutoring for four years at various levels and age groups. She was recently hired by her local public school system to tutor homebound students in subjects ranging from AP Biology to English Literature. She strongly believes in the power of one on one attention and customizing her style of teaching for each student. She is a firm believer in helping students take ownership of their own success by systematically identifying and addressing any weaknesses and further improving a student's strengths
