Sydney Wade
USMLE TutorSydney is a fourth-year medical student at Johns Hopkins University. As a visual learner, Sydney loves developing engaging visual aids to help students retain important clinical information.
Sydney was born and raised in the metro Atlanta area. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from Yale College and an MPH in epidemiology of microbial diseases from the Yale School of Public Health. While at Yale, she was actively involved in student education, serving as a peer tutor and teaching assistant for a physics course for pre-medical students and as a teaching assistant for a graduate epidemiology course. After graduating, she worked for two years as a management consultant with a focus on healthcare before starting medical school.
Currently, Sydney is a fourth-year medical student at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. While studying for Step 1 and Step 2, she realized the value of having additional support during stressful periods. As a result, she hopes to provide mentorship and tutoring to help other students tackle these exams with confidence. She enjoys coming up with engaging ways to teach clinical content and creating visual aids to help with both learning and retaining information.
In her free time, Sydney enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, and tending her garden. She is an aspiring interventional radiologist and wants to help expand radiology services locally and globally.
