Whitney Keller MD
AdvisorDr. Keller has enjoyed her career in teaching as well as obstetrics and gynecology, which has encompassed evaluating, teaching, advising learners and helping select future medical students and OBGYN residents.
Dr. Keller graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a degree in biomedical science. She then attended UT Southwestern Medical School and subsequently transferred to UTMB in Galveston after getting married. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at UTMB and then moved to Austin, Texas to become faculty in the UTMB academic program. In that role, Dr. Keller received several teaching awards, was appointed the OBGYN site clerkship director, and was later given the opportunity to be a curriculum creator for the new Dell Medical School. Afterward, she served as a DOCS mentor and PILLARS team based learning facilitator.
Dr. Keller has been a student and resident mentor, faculty advisor and teacher, medical student and residency applicant reviewer, and interviewer. She has served on ranking committees for medical school and residency applicants and has counseled premedical students.

Dr. Keller has completed acupuncture and nutrition coaching training to complement her traditional medical education. She also created a wellness program for OBGYN residents.
